The Porsche Macan is a compact luxury crossover SUV produced by German Manufacturer Porsche since 2014. The first-generation Macan went into production in 2014 with both Diesel and Gas engine options. Porsche intended for the Macan to be sportier than the Cayenne. For Example the Macan comes standard with Porsche's 7-Speed Dual-Clutch PDK Transmission while the Cayenne has an 8-Speed Tiptronic Transmission. The 2018 Macan Line up includes; The Base Trim Macan which is equipped with the 2.0-Liter Turbocharged 4-Cylinder engine which produces 252 Horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque. The Macan S is equipped with a 3.0-Liter Twin-turbo V6 which produces 340 Horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque. The Macan GTS is equipped with the same 3.0-Liter Twin-Turbo V6 but produces 360 Horsepower in the GTS Trim. Finally the Macan Turbo is equipped with a 3.6-Liter Twin-Turbo V6 which produces 400 Horsepower.
