The Dodge Challenger is the name of three different generations of automobiles produced by American Automobile Manufacturer Dodge. From 1970-1974, The First Generation Dodge Challenger pony car was built using the Chrysler E Platform sharing components with the Plymouth Barracuda. The Second Generation Challenger was built between 1978-1983 and it was a coupe version of an economical compact car. The Third and current Generation is a full-size Muscle Car introduced in early 2008 initially as a rival to the 5th Generation Mustang and the 5th Generation Camaro. Many of the Third Generation Challenger's design cues were adapted from the 1970 Dodge Challenger. In November 2021, Stellantis announced that the 2023 Model Year would be the final year for both the Dodge Charger and the Dodge Challenger, as the company will focus its plans on electric vehicles. The 2016 Dodge Challenger commands your attention especially when optioned with the Shaker Package. The Shaker Package adds $4800 to the sticker but it is a worthwhile investment. The Shaker Package includes; The Cool and Functional Shaker Hood Scoop, Flat-Black Filler Cap, Glossy Black Grille and a Rear Spoiler. The Shaker Package also includes Heated/Cooled Leather Sport Seats and a Heated, Leather-Wrapped Sport Steering Wheel. Dodge claims that they are the only company to still build a true muscle car, and that is exactly what the 2016 Dodge Challenger Scatpack is. We purchased this 2016 Dodge Challenger Scatpack out of California due to the Vortech Supercharger, 1 Owner and the Build. One of the Advantages of this Build is that the Insurance Premoium is based on a Scatpack while producing the same horsepower as the Hellcat. This is not your regular Scatpack, it is an absolute beast with Vortech claiming the Supercharger Kit brings the Hemi from 485 horsepower to 730 Horsepower on 7 PSI of Boost. This Scatpack had an MSRP of $49.1k with over $11k in Options including; Scat Pack Shaker Package, Scat Pack Appearance Group, Uconnect 8.4 Navigation, Heated/Ventilated Seats, Heated Steering Wheel, ParkView Rear Back-Up Camera and 20 Inch Hyper Black Forged Wheels. This 392 Scatpack has been fitted with Vortech’s V-3 SI-Trim Supercharger Kit which includes; V-3 SI-Trim CCW Rotation Supercharger w/30 Tooth S/C Drive3 Pulley, Billet Aluminum Mounting Plate, Air-to-Water Charge Cooler, Welded Charge Air Cooler Core Capable of 1000 horsepower, OE Hellcat Water Reservoir Storage Tank and a Maxflow Race BOV. This Scatpack has some additional Aftermarket Modifications including; 1400 Horsepower Capable GForce Engineering Half Shaft Axles, Unlocked ECU/PCM by Livernois Motorsports, Livernois ECU Tune, Fuel Pump Booster, and 1 Step Colder Spark Plugs.
