The BMW M3 is a high-performance version of the BMW 3 Series, developed by BMW's in-house motorsport division known as BMW M. M3 models have been produced for every generation of 3 Series since the E30 M3 was introduced in 1986. The M3 model of the E36 Series was released in 1992 in European Market but was not released into the US Market until 1995. There are some key differences between the Euro Spec E36 and the M3 that was released into the US Market including; The S50B30Us and an optional 5-Speed ZF 5HP Automatic Transmission. These changes saved BMW M in the US as BMW North America believed that the Euro Spec would be too expensive to sell well. In 1996 however the M3 received a facelift which included; The Upgraded S52 Engine which produces 240 Horsepower and 236 lb-ft of torque. We purchased this 1999 BMW M3 Convertible out of California due to the Low Miles and Original Paint. This E36 M3 had an MSRP of $51k with over $5k in Options including; Premium Harmon Kardon Sound System, On Board Computer, Power Sport Seats, Heated Seats, Heated Washer Jets, Heated Door Lock, 5-Speed Electronically Controlled Transmission and a Dark Blue Soft Top. We just had the E36's Convertible Mechanism replaced at Classic Soft Trim. We Paint Metered the entire M3 and it shows to all be original BMW Factory Paint. This E36 is a beautiful example of a stock 1 Owner BMW E36 M3, from the condition of the interior to the all original BMW paint this M3 Convertible is gorgeous.
