Description:
We received this 1996 Ford F350 Powerstroke Diesel from a longtime customer of ours who's vehicles have a following. We have coined the Term "The Roby Effect" for his vehicles due to the optional equipment and modifications. This Roby Rig is a bit different than what he typically brings into our shop in that it was basically a functional work truck on his property. This 1996 Ford F350 has 96,469 Original Miles and has been owned in their family for 25 Years. This Ford has only been used as a Work Truck around their Orchard and it was always stored inside their Shop unless it was being used around the property for work. Our customer installed a Tray Bed on this Ford F350 which included a Goose Neck in 2023. This F350 has been serviced regularly and the Glow Plugs were replaced in 2023. Also installed on this Ford F350 was a Snow Plow which was used so they could plow their Driveway in Hood River. The Snow Plow Wiring is all still intact the Plow itself has been removed although the attachment still sits on the front of the Chassis. These OBS Ford F350s have skyrocketed in popularity within the last few years due to the 7.3 Power Stroke being a very durable engine design that can withstand a ton of Work/Miles as well as the fact that these have become harder to find.
