The 2012 Ram 3500 is a work oriented truck equipped with the Cummins 6.7-liter turbo diesel. Which provides a tow range of up to 17,600 lbs, with a maximum payload of 5,130 lbs. The biggest new addition to the 2012 Ram is the new 6-Speed Automatic Transmission which replaced the 5-Speed Automatic in the previous models. The new transmission is a lot stronger than the outgoing gearbox, and it features both lower first and higher final gear ratios. The heavy-duty Ram work trucks are far more luxurious than their predecessors, even though they have not given up any work ability. We received this 2012 Ram 3500 from a customer who purchased our 2023 Ram 3500.
