The 2011 Shelby GT500 is based on a standard Ford Mustang GT which is equipped with a 5.0-Liter V8 which produces 412 Horsepower. The 2011 GT500 is equipped with a Supercharged 5.4-Liter V-8 which produces 550 Horsepower and 510 ft-lb of torque. The 2011 GT500 makes 10 more horsepower than the 2010 Model which is from the Improved Intercooler and a more Efficient Exhaust system that allows less back pressure. The New V8 switches to a lighter Aluminum Block which weighs 102 Lbs less than 2010's Engine. Weight Distribution has been improved at 55.7% at the Front and 44.3% at the Rear. The 2011 Shelby GT500 does 0-100 MPH in 9.1 Seconds and runs 12.3 Second Quarter Mile at nearly 120 MPH. When the Shelby GT500 is equipped with the SVT Performance Package it becomes a Track Weapon. The SVT Package adds Stiffer Suspension, Modified Shock Valving, Slightly Lowered Ride Height, and a shorter 3.73:1 Final-Drive Ratio for faster acceleration. The 2011 Shelby GT500 is now the car it should have been with More Power, Less Weight, Better Tires, and an Improved Suspension. We purchased this Shelby GT500 out of California because of the Stance, Low Miles, Custom Paint Job and the Aftermarket Modifications. This GT500 has some great Aftermarket Modifications including; a BMC Double Carbon Fiber Black Mamba Hood, 20 Inch Verde V99 Wheels, 315/35R20 Nitto NT555 Tires, Magnaflow Muffler, Catless Headers, SVT Cold Air Intake. This GT500 has been fully repainted to match Ford's new "Code Orange'' which is an Exclusive Ford Performance color. Originally the paint was Sterling Grey Metallic. This Shelby GT500 had an MSRP of $54.4k with $5.8k in Options including; SVT Performance Package, Electronics Package, and the 3.73 Ratio Limited Slip Axle.
