Carfax Report

The Jeep Wagoneer was the first Jeep Luxury 4X4 SUV and was built from 1963 to 1991. Its success can be confirmed by the fact they made very few or limited changes to it over the 28 years of manufacturing. Some would also argue it helped start the SUV boom in the U.S. Up until it's inception, most 4X4's were strictly trucks and had few amenities and were not driven much around town. Another interesting note, 1987 was the last year AMC owned Jeep, they were sold to Chrysler in March of 1987.

This is a customers car, he won it in a Golf tournament 12 years ago for KP. He is no longer driving it and does not want to have to deal with selling it, so we are selling it for him. It looks to be a survivor car, with no rust found on the body panels or undercarriage. The rear passenger side window is inop, we are looking at fixing that and the power mirror switch which is also inop. Everything else works, it runs and drives really nice and starts immediately.

When looking for collectible and enthusiast cars, the best finds are often cars without corrosion or collision damage. The structural integrity of the frame and body panels on this Grand Wagoneer are certainly among the top tier for condition across all full-size Jeeps of this era. While this Grand Wagoneer is very nice inside and out, please remember that being 30 years old, it is going to require ongoing maintenance and is likely to have seepage or small leaks. We are confident that there are few finer examples of this model available on the market today, and limited numbers in the future.
